Role Overview
The Director of Facilities Management will oversee all aspects of facilities operations including utilities building systems grounds and equipment. This includes managing preventive and reactive maintenance ensuring regulatory compliance and partnering with internal and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the plant operations team and manage day-to-day maintenance and project work
Ensure compliance with authorities having jurisdiction (e.g. Joint Commission DNV-GL ACHC CMS NFPA OSHA)
Maintain documentation per performance standards
Monitor the safety program and partner with the Environment of Care Committee
Provide training and performance evaluations to FM associates
Supervise subcontractors and vendor relationships
Collaborate with site leadership on facility planning and improvements
Implement innovative and forward-thinking solutions for facility needs
Qualifications :
Qualifications
Behavioral healthcare experience preferred
Working knowledge of authorities having jurisdiction (AHJs) and experience maintaining compliance with them
Forward-thinking mindset to anticipate and address facility needs proactively
Bachelors degree in Engineering Architecture Construction or Business (preferred)
3 years healthcare facility management experience with a degree; 5 years without
Knowledge of CMS OSHA EPA NFPA and other standards
Strong written verbal and organizational skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and facility management systems
Additional Requirements
A Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) check will be completed prior to employment and successful clearance is required
OSHA 10 certification (General Industry) required within 6 months
CHFM CHSP CMM or similar credential preferred
