We are seeking an enthusiastic and customer-focused Food & Beverage Executive to join our team in Novotel Visakhapatnam Varun Beach India. As a key member of our hospitality organization you will play a crucial role in ensuring exceptional dining experiences for our guests while leading and inspiring our food and beverage team.
- Oversee daily food and beverage operations ensuring high standards of quality and service
- Lead mentor and train the food and beverage team to maintain brand standards and deliver exceptional guest experiences
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure food quality presentation and menu development
- Manage inventory control costs and optimize profitability while maintaining guest satisfaction
- Implement and enforce health and safety regulations in all food and beverage areas
- Analyze sales data and customer feedback to identify areas for improvement and implement strategic changes
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless event planning and execution
- Stay updated on industry trends and introduce innovative concepts to enhance our offerings
- Handle guest inquiries and resolve any issues promptly and professionally
- Participate in budget planning and financial goal-setting for the food and beverage department
Qualifications :
- Proven experience in a food and beverage leadership role preferably in a high-end hospitality setting
- Strong service-oriented mindset with a passion for creating memorable dining experiences
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to lead and motivate a diverse team
- Demonstrated problem-solving abilities and decision-making skills in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in inventory management and cost control techniques
- In-depth knowledge of food and beverage industry trends including menu engineering and pricing strategies
- Thorough understanding of health safety and hygiene regulations in the food service industry
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings weekends and holidays
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Proficiency in using point-of-sale (POS) systems and Microsoft Office suite
- Bachelors degree in Hospitality Management Restaurant Management or a related field (preferred)
- Food safety certification (e.g. ServSafe) is a plus
