Job Description

We are seeking an enthusiastic and customer-focused Food & Beverage Executive to join our team in Novotel Visakhapatnam Varun Beach India. As a key member of our hospitality organization you will play a crucial role in ensuring exceptional dining experiences for our guests while leading and inspiring our food and beverage team.

  • Oversee daily food and beverage operations ensuring high standards of quality and service
  • Lead mentor and train the food and beverage team to maintain brand standards and deliver exceptional guest experiences
  • Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure food quality presentation and menu development
  • Manage inventory control costs and optimize profitability while maintaining guest satisfaction
  • Implement and enforce health and safety regulations in all food and beverage areas
  • Analyze sales data and customer feedback to identify areas for improvement and implement strategic changes
  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless event planning and execution
  • Stay updated on industry trends and introduce innovative concepts to enhance our offerings
  • Handle guest inquiries and resolve any issues promptly and professionally
  • Participate in budget planning and financial goal-setting for the food and beverage department

Qualifications :

  • Proven experience in a food and beverage leadership role preferably in a high-end hospitality setting
  • Strong service-oriented mindset with a passion for creating memorable dining experiences
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to lead and motivate a diverse team
  • Demonstrated problem-solving abilities and decision-making skills in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in inventory management and cost control techniques
  • In-depth knowledge of food and beverage industry trends including menu engineering and pricing strategies
  • Thorough understanding of health safety and hygiene regulations in the food service industry
  • Ability to work flexible hours including evenings weekends and holidays
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
  • Proficiency in using point-of-sale (POS) systems and Microsoft Office suite
  • Bachelors degree in Hospitality Management Restaurant Management or a related field (preferred)
  • Food safety certification (e.g. ServSafe) is a plus
