Job Description

Northwest Naturals LLC (a wholly-owned subsidiary of Tree Top Inc.) is a leading supplier of fruit juice concentrates servicing both domestic and international manufacturers for products and applications such as non-alcoholic and alcoholic beverages sauces dressings bakery and confections.

We are currently seeking a creative and results-driven Marketing Manager to join our team!
Anticipated salary range: $96000 - $140000

The Marketing Manager is responsible for managing and executing marketing strategies for Northwest Naturals products and business channels. This role is designed to optimize product profitability and market presence while fostering strong brand loyalty. Collaborating closely with internal teams and external partners the Marketing Manager will support our commitment to delivering high-quality innovative solutions within the B2B food and beverage market.

This position reports directly to the Head of Sales & Marketing with an additional reporting line to the President. They will work closely with cross-functional teams including Sales R&D Tree Top Marketing and third-party agencies.


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
  • Strategic Marketing Execution
    • Collaborate with the Head of Sales & Marketing and President to develop marketing strategies directly aligned with company goals.
    • Execute marketing initiatives focused on B2B channels ensuring campaigns and promotional efforts align with the needs of manufacturing clients and enhance NWNs market position.
    • Work closely with Sales and R&D to drive integrated strategies that leverage each departments insights and expertise forming a unified approach to growth.
    • Support CRM management to ensure consistent tracking of customer engagement and campaign effectiveness contributing to data-driven decisions.
    • Track and evaluate the effectiveness of campaigns through key performance metrics including ROI new sales growth new product introduction success and overall brand exposure.
    • Maintain flexibility to adjust tactical elements as needed providing recommendations to optimize campaign impact and achieve strategic objectives.
  • Digital and Social Media Management
    • Lead the management and optimization of NWNs website to enhance company visibility effectively communicate unique selling propositions and drive growth with both existing and prospective customers.
    • Monitor and analyze website metrics including SEO performance keyword rankings domain authority visitor traffic and user behavior ensuring the site delivers value and engages the target audience.
    • Collaborate with external digital marketing agencies for strategic execution and with the R&D team to generate in-house content that aligns with brand messaging and customer needs.
    • Oversee NWNs presence on social media platforms to support broader digital strategies ensuring cohesive messaging and professional brand representation.
  • Agency Coordination
    • Serve as the main point of contact for NWNs marketing agencies managing all aspects of external collaboration including day-to-day communications contract negotiations and performance assessment.
    • Coordinate with agencies on key projects such as event marketing and targeted promotional campaigns ensuring alignment with NWNs strategic objectives.
    • Act as an advocate for NWNs marketing goals developing recommendations for agency activities and presenting these to senior leadership for approval.
  • Product Branding Support
    • Oversee and support branding initiatives to ensure consistency across NWNs marketing efforts aligning with the companys strategic goals.
    • Collaborate with Sales R&D and other departments to maintain cohesive branding that reinforces NWNs market positioning and appeals to the B2B customer base.
  • Event and Trade Show Management
    • Plan and execute NWNs participation in industry trade shows and customer visits to support sales efforts coordinating closely with Sales and R&D to maximize impact.
    • Support the Sales team by assisting in customer presentations and providing relevant marketing materials and brand messaging that align with client needs.
    • Oversee all logistical aspects including budgeting event setup and follow-up activities ensuring seamless execution and alignment with NWNs strategic objectives.
    • Track and report on performance metrics such as lead generation and client engagement to evaluate event success and inform future planning.
  • Sales Support
    • Work closely with Sales to develop integrated marketing tools that align with specific customer segments product categories and strategic accounts.
    • Analyze sales funnel data and customer feedback to optimize marketing materials and outreach strategies.
    • Lead the creation of targeted campaigns in partnership with Sales to accelerate lead conversion and customer retention.
    • Act as a connector between Sales R&D and Marketing to streamline information flow and ensure unified customer messaging.

QUALIFICATIONS FOR ENTRY:
KNOWLEDGE OF:
  • Basic principles and practices of marketing.
  • Basic principles and practices of business accounting.
  • Principles and practices of market analysis metrics and monitoring mechanisms.
  • Pertinent Federal State and local laws codes and regulations.
ABILITY TO:
  • Effectively manage and lead multiple projects with multidisciplinary teams toward a shared goal.
  • Maintain confidential and sensitive information.
  • Gain cooperation through discussion and persuasion.
  • Effectively organize plan and execute.
  • Use computers and computer software including word processing spreadsheets and databases.
  • Meet behaviors established in Tree Tops performance management and development process.
EXPERIENCE CERTIFICATION/LICENSES AND TRAINING:
  • A Bachelors degree in business administration marketing or related field or additional experience in lieu of a degree is required.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in marketing public relations project management or similar field.
