Job Description
New England Kurn Hattin Homes is a residential school nestled on 280 acres in beautiful Westminster Vermont. The students in grades K-8 come from culturally and socially diverse backgrounds. We are looking for an individual to work with our diverse learners to inspire them to become independent thinkers and future leaders. We are seeking a part time Literacy and Math Interventionist beginning August 2025. The successful candidate will be an effective communicator to develop a positive rapport with students colleagues and families. The ideal candidate will provide targeted literacy and math interventions support and individualized instruction to students. Familiarity with Leveled Literacy Intervention PBiS Restorative Practices Proficiency Based Learning and Trauma Informed Practice is preferred. A Bachelors degree combined with strong collaborative skills is required. At least three years of teaching experience and knowledge of current best practices is preferred. The compensation range is between $34 and $36 per hour based on submit a cover letter resume and three current letters of reference if you are interested in the rewarding opportunity to make a difference in the lives of students at New England Kurn Hattin Homes.
