The Content AI team is building the intelligence that powers search across Adobes ecosystem transforming how users interact with content. What Will You Do
Design and implement scalable high-performance services that power intelligent search and content understanding across Adobe products.
Collaborate with software engineers machine learning experts product managers and designers to deliver AI-driven search experiences that delight users.
Contribute to the architecture of the Content AI platform ensuring it is robust extensible and secure.
Analyze system performance and user behavior to continuously improve relevance latency and engagement.
Participate in agile development processes including sprint planning code reviews and retrospectives.
What You Need to Succeed
Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Java or Python.
Strong knowledge of algorithms data structures and problem-solving techniques.
Proven experience in designing and developing scalable distributed systems and microservices.
Solid understanding of cloud-native development (preferably on Azure).
Familiarity with observability practices including monitoring logging and tracing.
Proficiency with AI-assisted development tools (e.g. Cursor AI GitHub Copilot) or a demonstrated willingness to learn and integrate them into daily workflows is required.
Ability to investigate and debug complex issues identify root causes and implement effective solutions.
Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and frameworks.
A commitment to high-quality engineering with attention to detail in both development and testing.
Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related field or equivalent practical experience.
Nice to Have
Experience with search technologies (e.g. Elasticsearch Lucene vector search) or information retrieval systems.
Exposure to machine learning or natural language processing concepts.
Familiarity with infrastructure tools such as containers orchestrators and cloud providers.
Experience with build management tools.
Hands-on experience with monitoring solutions like New Relic Prometheus or Grafana
