Position: Permanent Part-Time Chaplain
Hours: 20 hours per fortnight (approx. 10 hours per week)
Location: Salem and Northridge Aged Care Toowoomba
Salary: $35$40/hour (commensurate with experience)

Lutheran Services is expanding its chaplaincy care across our aged care communities. We are seeking a dedicatedPart-Time Chaplainto provide spiritual emotional and pastoral support to residents staff and families atSalem and Northridge Aged Carein Toowoomba.
About the Role:
This is a meaningful opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of older Australians and those who care for them. As a chaplain you will be a vital presence in our aged care community offering comfort connection and spiritual guidance.
Your responsibilities will include:
Providing inclusive spiritual and emotional care to residents staff and volunteers.
Leading and coordinating worship services memorials and other spiritual gatherings.
Supporting residents of all faiths and worldviews fostering a welcoming and respectful environment.
Strengthening Lutheran identity while encouraging interfaith engagement.
Maintaining confidentiality and upholding professional standards in pastoral care.

About You:
Were looking for someone who brings both heart and skill to the role. Youll be a trusted presence able to walk alongside people in times of joy grief and transition.
We welcome applications from experienced chaplains who:
Have pastoral care training and experience in aged care settings.
Hold or are willing to obtain a Clinical Pastoral Education unit.
Have mental health or crisis support training (e.g. Mental Health First Aid).
Are confident in leading worship and spiritual activities.
Hold a current Police Check Blue Card NDIS Worker Screening and required vaccinations.
Demonstrate strong interpersonal communication and organisational skills.
Are committed to inclusive person-centred care.
