Job Description

Description of the role:

Malloy Ford Charlottesville is seeking a Parts Shipping & Receiving Clerk to join our team in Charlottesville VA. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling the shipping and receiving of automotive parts maintaining accurate inventory records and ensuring timely delivery to customers.

Responsibilities:

  • Receive incoming shipments and verify parts against packing slips
  • Package and ship parts orders ensuring proper handling and delivery
  • Maintain organized inventory storage and tracking systems
  • Coordinate with other departments to fulfill parts orders efficiently
  • Perform regular inventory audits and reconcile discrepancies

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior experience in shipping receiving or inventory management preferred
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills
  • Ability to lift heavy objects and stand for extended periods
  • Basic computer skills and familiarity with inventory software
