Tasting Associate
Part Time
As we prepare for our upcoming location in Mason Ohio we are seeking enthusiastic service-minded candidates to join our Tastings team part-time. If you love people and good food join us in making The DLM Experience come alive in Mason.
Are you a people person whos passionate about great food At Dorothy Lane Market sharing great food is part of our DNA. Our Tastings Department cultivates this excitement by crafting mouthwatering and creative recipes to showcase our wonderful flavors. This position will allow you to learn about the specialty food items that make DLM unique while empowering you to pass on that knowledge through engaging demonstrations. The ideal candidate for this position is self-motivated outgoing and able to talk and prepare concurrently. We hope you join this exciting department where the opportunities to learn and taste are endless.
What Youll Do
- Prepare engaging and exciting demos on the sales floor.
- Provide outstanding customer service.
- Share product knowledge and recommendations.
- Set up and break down demo stations and displays.
- Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards at all times.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- A desire to make folks happy by providing Honestly Better Food and Service.
- A willingness to learn about and taste great food.
- A willingness to practice the DLM Team Values: Be Honest Safe Helpful and Hard-Working
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Basic cooking skills.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Willingness to train at other locations.
- Basic mathematical skills.
- Must be 18 or older.
Physical Requirements:
- Standing for long periods of time.
- Lifting up to 40lbs.
- Must have holiday and weekend availability.
