Job Description
Key Responsibilities:

Develop implement and monitor HSE policies procedures and programs to ensure compliance with all local state and federal regulations. Conduct regular site visits to company facilities to assess HSE performance provide guidance and support continuous improvement. Lead incident investigations root cause analyses and corrective action implementation. Deliver HSE training and educational sessions to employees and contractors. Perform risk assessments and recommend effective risk mitigation strategies. Participate in audits inspections and internal/external compliance reviews. Maintain accurate records and documentation related to HSE activities incidents and corrective actions. Collaborate with site managers and cross-functional teams to implement safety initiatives and promote a positive HSE culture. Serve as a subject matter expert and resource for HSE-related topics providing practical advice and solutions. Track and report on HSE performance metrics and communicate results to leadership.

Consistently model safe and environmentally responsible behavior in all actions and decisions
Respond promptly and effectively to HSE concerns incidents and emergency situations
Promote a proactive safety culture through engagement visibility and leadership

Additional Qualifications/Responsibilities
Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in occupational health & safety Environmental Science or a related field (preferred) OR Minimum of 7-8 years of experience in a similar role.
Minimum of 5 years of HSE experience ideally in a manufacturing or multi-site environment
In-depth knowledge of OSHA EPA and applicable federal state and local regulations
Ability to interpret and apply regulatory requirements to real-world operational challenges
Excellent interpersonal written and verbal communication skills
Comfortable delivering safety presentations and training sessions to various audiences
Must possess and maintain a valid drivers license
Willingness and ability to travel up to 50% to company facilities as needed
Professional certifications such as CSP (Certified Safety Professional) CIH (Certified Industrial Hygienist) or CHMM (Certified Hazardous Materials Manager) are highly desirable
