Job Description
Resthaven has an opportunity for a service-focused Domestic Attendant to work at our Melrose Park Retirement Living site in a casual role.
Resthaven was established in 1935 and is one of a select few providers to offer the full range of aged care services. Proudly South Australian Resthaven is a financially independent not-for-profit charity associated with the Uniting Church in Australia.
Key Duties:
- Efficient and timely response to residents cleaning needs by making beds replenishing linens cleaning rooms and halls.
- Provide general cleaning services to the common areas of the apartments.
- Delivery of meals and drinks cooked by the Chef.
- Preparation and clean-up of dining room and kitchen following the meal service.
- Other duties as directed by Village Manager/Assistant Village Manager.
With your well-developed interpersonal and communication skills you will have demonstrated ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
Candidates with hospitality experience in a Housekeeping or Restaurant environment are encouraged to apply.
