Job Summary:
To process verify and maintain documentation relating to personnel activities for part-time food and nutritionpersonnelto ensure compliance with district policies and procedures and state and federal regulations.
Key Responsibilities:

- Interview process and provide orientation to new part-time Food & Nutrition employees
- Establish and maintain files for part-time Food & Nutrition personnel
- Establish and maintain personnel and payroll records for part-time Food & Nutrition personnel
- Generate Personnel Action Requests Forms (PARFs)
- Provide and maintain access to and assist Food & Nutrition staff with TimeClock Plus (TCP) timekeeping system
- Respond to inquiries from applicants district personnel and general public to provide information resolve issues and/or refer to appropriate personnel for resolution
- Perform general office tasks
- Regular and on-time attendance required
- Perform other related duties as assigned to ensure the efficient and effective functioning of the work unit
- Accept and review for completeness job applications for cafeteria positions
- Assist in compiling workshop materials forms and letters
- Prepare hiringpackets for adult and student employees
- Serve as office courier and back-up receptionist as needed
- Assist other personnel as may be required for the purpose of supporting them in the completion of their work activities
- Assists with other assigned duties as appropriate to the area of assignment and Mesa Public Schools
Required Qualifications:
To be eligible for this position an applicant must meet the following required qualifications. Verification of these required qualifications is necessary.
Education:
- High School education or equivalent
- Valid Arizona drivers license and ability to use own vehicle when needed
Experience:
- Minimum two years clerical experience
Preferred Qualifications:
It is preferred that the applicant possess the following preferred qualifications; however the following qualifications are not required to be eligible for this position.
Experience:
- Human resources experience preferred
- iVisions and TimeClock Plus experience preferred
