Job Summary:
This role is for a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in a tertiary care hospitals medical-surgical unit. The LPN will provide nursing care under the supervision of an RN manage their own patient assignments and contribute to a collaborative team environment. The position requires recent hospital experience and involves every-other-weekend night shifts.

Location: Rochester New York United States
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care under the supervision of an RN.
- Manage own patient assignments.
- Gather and report patient data.
- Carry out physician orders and perform therapeutic procedures.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team.
- Chart patient information using Epic.
- Participate in every-other-weekend night shift rotation.
- Manage own patient assignments.

Required Skills & Certifications:
- Current LPN license in New York.
- Minimum of 1 year of inpatient medical-surgical nursing experience (preferred but not required).
- Current BLS certification.
- Hospital experience within the last 2 years.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Skills & Certifications:
- Experience in emergency or critical care environments.
- Proficiency with vents trachs and PICC lines.
- 2 years of experience in direct patient care.

Special Considerations:
- Every other weekend requirement.
- 3x12-hour night shifts.
- Tertiary care hospital setting.
