Job Description
RN-Labor and Delivery Contract Role
Job Details:
- Location: Newburyport MA 01950
- Duration: 13 weeks
- Shift: 12-hour shifts Nights 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
- Weekly Pay Rate: $2520 - $2664
- Advocate for patients and families to ensure safe high-quality care and positive outcomes.
- Provide comprehensive care throughout labor delivery recovery and postpartum periods.
- Circulate during cesarean sections and provide well-newborn care.
- Attend deliveries and perform newborn stabilization per NRP protocols.
- Respond professionally in crisis or emergency situations.
- Communicate effectively with patients families and healthcare team members.
- Include patients and families in all aspects of care ensuring clear understandable communication.
- Document all patient changes interventions and responses according to policy.
- Provide education and discharge resources to patients and families.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years LDRP experience strongly preferred
- Licensure: Active Massachusetts RN License
- Certifications:
- Basic Life Support (BLS)-Required
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)-Required
- Education: Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- Preferred: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
