JOB TITLE: Electrical Install Assembler - Free Housing Support
LOCATION: North Charleston SC
PAY RATE: $25-31/hour

Contract Length: 12 months (with potential extension)

Summary:
Performs routine production assembly operations on aircraft structural and mechanical assemblies subassemblies and systems using manual tools.
Regular and predictable attendance is required.
Route wire harnesses per blueprints and specifications (787 Program)
Build and terminate connectors splice and crimp wires
Install connectors to receptacles and electronic components
Perform rework and repairs per engineering instructions
Conduct fiber optic cleaning inspection light loss testing and installation
Execute bond and ground operations (CRNs jumpers ground studs resistance testing)
Requirements:
High school diploma or GED required
Typically 1 years of relevant experience or equivalent education/training (e.g. vocational school Associates)
6 months of experience with:
Reading and interpreting blueprints and technical work instructions (in English)
Using hand power and pneumatic tools in a manufacturing or mechanical environment
Working with structural part fabrication and assembly processes
Software applications including Microsoft Suite email and internet navigation
Must pass all background and screening checks
8 10 weeks of onboarding/training
Ability to lift up to 35 lbs and perform physical tasks (bending climbing kneeling crawling etc.)
Ability to work with high hazard chemicals
Must be able to work 1st 2nd or 3rd shift depending on business needs
Dress code: teamwear provided on-site
This is a non-managerial non-leadership role
Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).
