JOB TITLE: Wire Installation Engineer 3
LOCATION: Everett WA
PAY RATE: $76.50/hour

Qualifying Questions:

Summary:
-
Support the 777 program with wire routing and design integration throughout the aircraft.
-
Focus on developing and maintaining cable/wire harness detail and assembly designs including 3D modeling and routing using CATIA V5.
-
Develop and maintain wire harness and electrical installation designs (e.g. racks panels routing antennas)
-
Perform design reviews and analyze design results
-
Provide disposition on design discrepancies (e.g. rejection tags production requests)
-
Document processes specifications and procedures
-
Participate in supplier technical reviews to support source selection
-
Ensure complete integrated design based on functional and physical inputs
-
Develop basic statements of work
-
Supporting wire routing design across the 777 aircraft

Focus on 3D modeling and integration
Requirements:
-
Bachelors degree in Engineering Computer Science Mathematics Physics or related field
-
5 years of relevant experience
-
ABET-accredited education preferred but not required
-
Advanced degrees may substitute for experience (e.g. Masters 3 years or PhD)

Proficiency in CATIA V5
-
Strong background in 3D modeling
-
Experience with wire routing and electrical design
-
Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).
