Job Description

Job Title: Senior Auditor Corporate Compliance
Location: Hybrid Denver CO or Federal Way WA (in-office Tuesdays and Wednesdays)
Job Type: Full Time Permanent
Salary Range: As per Exp.
Bonus: Eligible for annual target bonus

About the Role

Client is seeking a Senior Auditor Corporate Compliance to join our highly collaborative and people-first compliance team. This hybrid position offers an exciting opportunity to work on impactful compliance audits and help drive risk mitigation strategies within a mission-driven healthcare organization. As a self-starter and critical thinker you will conduct audits from the annual compliance audit plan and contribute to cross-functional projects that promote integrity and regulatory compliance across the organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute compliance audit programs and testing procedures based on identified risks and objectives

  • Conduct risk assessments and ensure audit conclusions are well documented and grounded in operational understanding

  • Identify control gaps and operational inefficiencies and provide actionable recommendations

  • Deliver findings and communicate issues clearly and professionally-both verbally and in writing-to business partners and senior management

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand processes and risks and build trusted relationships across departments

  • Support special projects investigations and ad-hoc assessments as required

  • Maintain detailed audit documentation in accordance with professional standards

  • Assist in continuous improvement of audit methodology and compliance processes

Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance (required)

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in internal audit with a focus on compliance or financial audits (non-IT audit)

  • Experience working as an auditor is required

  • Strong knowledge of auditing principles and data analysis

  • CPA CIA or CISA certification preferred

  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and/or data analytics tools (e.g. ACL Power BI)

  • Excellent analytical organizational communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision

  • Comfortable navigating complex organizational structures and building relationships at all levels

  • Quick learner and adaptable to change

Preferred Qualifications (Nice-to-Have)
  • Healthcare industry experience

  • Big 4 public accounting experience
