Client is seeking a Senior Auditor Corporate Compliance to join our highly collaborative and people-first compliance team. This hybrid position offers an exciting opportunity to work on impactful compliance audits and help drive risk mitigation strategies within a mission-driven healthcare organization. As a self-starter and critical thinker you will conduct audits from the annual compliance audit plan and contribute to cross-functional projects that promote integrity and regulatory compliance across the organization.
Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and execute compliance audit programs and testing procedures based on identified risks and objectives
Conduct risk assessments and ensure audit conclusions are well documented and grounded in operational understanding
Identify control gaps and operational inefficiencies and provide actionable recommendations
Deliver findings and communicate issues clearly and professionally-both verbally and in writing-to business partners and senior management
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand processes and risks and build trusted relationships across departments
Support special projects investigations and ad-hoc assessments as required
Maintain detailed audit documentation in accordance with professional standards
Assist in continuous improvement of audit methodology and compliance processes
Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance (required)
Minimum of 3 years of experience in internal audit with a focus on compliance or financial audits (non-IT audit)
Experience working as an auditor is required
Strong knowledge of auditing principles and data analysis
CPA CIA or CISA certification preferred
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and/or data analytics tools (e.g. ACL Power BI)
Excellent analytical organizational communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
Comfortable navigating complex organizational structures and building relationships at all levels
Quick learner and adaptable to change
Healthcare industry experience
Big 4 public accounting experience
