Job Description
- Scrubbing for various surgical procedures (General Ortho Ortho/Spine Ortho/Total Joints Urology Endo/Laparoscopic Vascular Gyn Abdominal hysterectomy C-sections Dilation & Curettage Laparoscopic assisted gynecological procedures Vaginal Hysterectomy).
- Assisting the surgical team during procedures.
- Maintaining a sterile surgical field.
- Managing surgical supplies and equipment.
- Adhering to hospital policies and procedures.
- Responding to on-call requests within 30 minutes.
- Floating to outpatient surgery pavilion as needed.
- Minimum of two years of experience as a surgical technician.
- BLS certification.
- Scrubbing experience.
- Inpatient experience.
- Outpatient experience.
- Floating to sister facilities (Outpatient Surgery Pavilion) is required.
- Return to office (RTO) is required.
- 3x12 hour shifts.
- Specific shift times vary including on-call periods. Examples include: Monday-Friday:(with on-call periods); Saturday/Sunday: 0630-1900 (with on-call periods).
- Block scheduling is not accommodated.
