Job Type: Contract Local or Travel
Shift: Day Shift 5x8s (Rotating: 7:15 AM 3:45 PM 9:30 AM 6:00 PM)
Pay Range: $45 $50 hourly ($1800 $2000 weekly)

Job Summary

Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking Surgical Services Surgical Tech OR General for an exciting Travel or Local job in Falmouth MA. Shift - Day.

Responsibilities

Prepare the operating room with instruments equipment drapes and solutions per policy and AORN standards.
Perform scrub duties across multiple surgical specialties.
Assemble check and adjust sterile/non-sterile equipment for readiness.
Pass instruments sutures sponges and sterile supplies to the surgical team during procedures.
Assist with retractors sutures and surgical counts (sponges needles instruments).
Handle prepare and transport surgical specimens safely.
Support wound dressing application and patient transfers.
Ensure surgeon-specific instruments and equipment are available per protocol.
Operate OR equipment (sterilizers suction lights diagnostics).
Safely prepare and label medications under surgeon/RN direction.
Assist with room turnover restocking and equipment maintenance.
Uphold patient privacy dignity and safety in all interactions.
Participate in staff orientation training and professional development.
Collaborate with the OR team to ensure smooth workflow and patient safety.

Qualifications

Ability to read write and communicate effectively in English.
Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technician program (civilian or military).
National Certification (within 12 months of graduation if not already obtained).

Certification must be accredited by the National Commission for Certifying Agencies (recognized by ACS & AST).

BLS Certification required.
Orthopedic experience strongly preferred.
