Role OverviewWe are looking for a seasoned Sales Manager with deep experience in the Generic Pharma Division strong channel knowledge and a successful history of managing high-performing teams. The ideal candidate will have over 15 years of sales experience especially in stockist and retail models and should have extensive exposure across Southern Indian states.
Key ResponsibilitiesDrive business development and sales growth in the generic division through strategic channel partnerships
Manage and expand the distribution network including stockists retailers and channel partners
Lead and develop a large sales team ensuring performance against PCPM and revenue targets
Achieve and maintain a PCPM of 15 20 lakhs
Handle product promotion pricing and placement strategies across assigned markets
Monitor competitor activity and identify market opportunities
Develop and execute region-specific marketing and sales strategies
Regularly review and report on team performance and territory performance metrics
Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders including marketing logistics and regulatory teams
15 years of proven sales experience in the pharmaceutical industry specifically in the generic drug segment
Expertise in channel sales (stockist and retail model)
Strong exposure and deep understanding of the southern market Tamil Nadu Andhra Pradesh Telangana Karnataka and Kerala
Track record of high-performance sales with consistent achievements and revenue growth
Proficiency in team building leadership and territory management
Aspiration and readiness to scale operations across Half India Zone
Prior experience with one or more of Indias top 20 pharma companies is highly preferred
