Job Description
Job Title- Oracle BI Technical Consultant
Location Miami Florida- USA - Onsite
The primary responsibility is to design develop and implement Oracle BI solutions that drive data driven decision-making and enhance overall business performance.
Key Responsibilities
1. Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and understand business needs for oracle bi solutions.
2. Design and develop oracle bi solutions including data modeling etl processes and creating reports and dashboards.
3. Provide technical leadership and guidance to project teams in the implementation and maintenance of oracle bi solutions.
4. Conduct performance tuning troubleshooting and optimization of oracle bi applications.
5. Stay updated on oracle bi best practices new features and technologies to propose innovative solutions.
6. Ensure the quality security and scalability of oracle bi solutions delivered to clients.
Skill Requirements
- Proficiency in Oracle BI technologies such as oracle business intelligence enterprise edition (OBIEE) Oracle BI publisher and oracle analytics cloud.
- Strong knowledge of data modeling ETL processes and data visualization techniques.
- Experience in designing and developing reports dashboards and analytics using oracle bi tools.
- Ability to troubleshoot and optimize oracle bi applications for performance enhancements.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with stakeholders and project teams effectively.
- Experience in OBIEE RPD modeling designing start/snowflake schemas
- OBIEE Expert with a thorough understanding of OBIEE architecture and the role of different OBIEE components like Analytic Server Web Server RPD Web Catalog Security Dashboards Reports iBots and Scheduler
- Experience in writing and profiling complex PL/SQL queries and fetch appropriate data from huge data sets efficiently (Oracle)
- Experience in OBIEE Features (i.e. Cache Usage tracking Dimensional hierarchy Variables/Initialization Blocks configuration etc.) converting Snow-Flake Schema to Star Schema Dim Hierarchies Dim Extensions and Physical & Logical Data Modeling.
Possess good communication interpersonal skills an ability to quickly grasp new concepts- both technical and business related.
Flexible and experienced to work independently or in a team environment.
Education/Experience: Bachelors Degree or equivalent in Computer Science Information Systems or related field and 6-10 years of relevant experience.
Specialization Domains: Supply Chain Warehouse Management Distribution
Technologies: Oracle BI - OBIEE Oracle Database tools like TOAD SQL Plus and Oracle tools
Certifications: Oracle Business Intelligence certification is preferred but not mandatory.
