Job Description
Job Title: Technical Manager GCL (Geosynthetic Clay Liners)
Location: Mumbai
Department: Geosynthetics Division
Reporting To: Head Technical & Business Development
Experience Required: 8 15 years in Geosynthetics/Landfill/Civil Engineering projects
Education: B.E./ in Civil Environmental Geotechnical or Textile Engineering
Preferred Background: Experience in landfill engineering geosynthetics installation or
technical sales of GCL HDPE liners or related products.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Technical Leadership & Support
Provide technical support for GCL applications in landfills mining and environmental
containment.
Assist in design specification and product selection for clients and consultants.
Ensure proper installation methodologies and conduct site supervision and quality
checks.
Troubleshoot field challenges and support performance validation.
2. Market Development & Stakeholder Engagement
Engage with regulatory authorities EPCs and design consultants to promote GCL
usage.
Deliver technical seminars workshops and training sessions.
Maintain and expand technical documentation including case studies approvals and
test reports.
3. Product Innovation & R&D Interface
Collaborate with R&D for product customization based on project or region-specific
needs.
Benchmark and analyze competitor offerings to ensure competitive edge.
4. Sales & Business Support
Prepare and assist in techno-commercial proposals BOQs and tender
documentation.
Work closely with the commercial team to drive project wins via technical influence.
Support customer trials product demos and field sampling.
Key Deliverables:
Secure technical approvals and specifications for GCL in key infrastructure projects.
Build a portfolio of 50 technical references across India
