Job description:
The Product Owner will be responsible for defining and driving the roadmap vision and delivery of technology products supporting core PBM functions such as claims adjudication prior authorization formulary management member and provider portals and related integrations.
You will collaborate closely with business stakeholders clinical teams engineering and operations to deliver solutions that improve efficiency compliance and member experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Define and prioritize the product backlog ensuring alignment with business objectives and regulatory requirements.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering design and QA to deliver high-quality product increments.
Own the product roadmap and communicate updates progress and changes to stakeholders and leadership.
Support sprint planning backlog refinement and daily stand-ups; make real-time decisions to unblock development teams.
Facilitate user acceptance testing (UAT) and ensure successful product releases.
Partner with analytics teams to define success metrics and track product performance.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Computer Science Healthcare Administration Business or related field (Masters preferred).
Strong understanding of PBM operations including claims processing formulary management pharmacy networks and member services.
Solid grasp of Agile/Scrum methodologies; experience working as a Product Owner in an Agile environment.
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to balance technical business and user needs.
Strong written and verbal communication skills; able to convey complex concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Ability to work with cross-functional geographically distributed teams.
