Job Description
Position Overview:
We are seeking a Code Integrator / Build & Release Engineer to join our clients Development Team within the Dev Release Management group. The ideal candidate will have deep experience in release management Linux-based environments and code lifecycle management in enterprise systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the full Code Management Lifecycle: code integrations merges stream and branch management and deployment requests.
- Oversee and execute software release processes with an emphasis on accuracy and compliance.
- Perform research design development and modification of enterprise-wide software and deployment processes.
- Ensure adherence to deployment and compliance standards throughout all phases of the software lifecycle.
- Maintain and improve automation and deployment processes including documentation and governance.
- Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams regarding deployment status and technical issues.
Must-Have Qualifications:
- 6 years of experience in IT.
- 5 years of experience in programming testing software deployment and Maven build tools.
- Proven expertise in release management with zero error tolerance.
- Strong experience with Linux systems JBoss and WebLogic application servers.
- Solid understanding of code repositories integrations version control (GitHub SVN Bitbucket IBM RTC) and CI/CD tools (Jenkins Ansible).
- Competence in scripting languages like Bash.
- Working knowledge of Java J2EE and development tools (Eclipse).
- Experience with client-side web technologies: HTML JavaScript Angular .
- Detail-oriented organized and capable of working independently under minimal supervision.
Preferred Skills & Experience:
- Experience with containerization technologies: Docker Kubernetes OpenShift.
- Familiarity with CI/CD orchestration environments.
- Exposure to Spring Object-Oriented Design and scalable enterprise applications.
- Strong communication documentation and collaboration skills.
Education:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related technical field OR equivalent experience.
