Job Description

Role: Exterior Design release Engineer
Location: Irvine CA

Responsibilities:

MUST HAVE CATIA V
10 years of experience in automotive exterior trim components and subsystem
Ability to create and completion of Bumper Cladding Spoiler Door garnish Fender etc
Work with Styling team to perform feasibility studies Check A-class surface and define craftsman ship target.
Experience from OEMs or Tier-I companies e.g. Plastic Omnium Forvia Denso Plasman Westin Bumpers
Design of automotive component parts in CATIA V6.
Actively engage with Automotive OEM /Tier-I design engineers to collaborate on design projects for trading off cost mass joining methods molding and testing performance.
Review the inputs received clarify the input queries. Make a rough initial estimation
Good knowledge of Exterior trim manufacturing processes
Develop and execute Exterior system requirements for Exterior components
Complete and release interior components sub-system and detail designs
Interpret CAE simulation results and integrate recommendations into product design
Collaborate with key Exterior system and plastic component suppliers and support overall vehicle development milestones and prototype/production build events
