Job Description
Job Title: COBOL DEVELOPER (JCL/DB2)
Location: Albany NY(Hybrid)
We are currently seeking candidates who meet the following qualification
Qualification:
- Hands-on experience in COBOL and JCL programming within IBM mainframe environments specifically on z/OS versions 4.2.0 and v3.2
- Proficient in working with VSAM file structures for high-performance data access and storage
- Extensive experience in developing and optimizing queries using DB2 and SQL
- Skilled in utilizing Endevor for source code management and version control in enterprise environments
- Strong background in data analysis and design including resolving data quality issues and implementing remediation strategies
- Proficient in using CA-InterTest for interactive debugging and testing of COBOL applications
- Demonstrated leadership as a Lead Programmer overseeing development tasks and guiding team members through the software development lifecycle
