Job Description

Job Title: Engineering Technician III
Location: Milwaukee WI
Schedule: Monday to Friday 8:00 AM 4:00 PM CST

Overview:
Join a forward-thinking engineering team as an Engineering Technician III where your technical expertise and hands-on skills will directly contribute to the development and refinement of cutting-edge electro-mechanical systems. This is a great opportunity to work on exciting projects that involve analog digital video circuits and logic systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support engineering teams with the design testing modification fabrication and assembly of prototype systems and specialized equipment.

  • Interpret and work from schematics diagrams layouts and technical documentation to perform testing and troubleshooting.

  • Conduct operational tests and fault isolation on systems and components assisting with corrective actions as needed.

  • Aid in the design and checkout of test equipment and experimental design circuitry.

  • Utilize test and diagnostic equipment such as oscilloscopes signal generators and custom test setups.

  • Collaborate and communicate regularly with engineers peers and customers to share factual findings and technical updates.

  • Tackle moderately complex assignments with minimal supervision and use judgment in resolving technical challenges.

  • Receive tasks with outlined objectives and operate with a high level of independence on daily activities.

Required Qualifications:

  • 2 years of relevant hands-on technical experience in engineering or testing environments.

  • Solid working knowledge of electronic systems testing procedures and diagnostic tools.

  • Ability to work from technical documentation and schematics with minimal direction.

  • Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive mindset.

  • Effective communicator and team collaborator.
