You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailThe quality helper is responsible for getting the doors ready for shipping by making sure all labels are on and the doors are wrapped.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
Applies fire label and item label to the door.
Cleans inspects caulks top rail gap labels and packs doors based on customer specifications.
Applies corner boards and strap protectors.
Performs end of the line inspections.
Wraps doors to ready for shipment.
Follows work instructions and pays attention to details.
Follows safety and PPE procedures and reports violations to supervisor leads and/or to safety.
Achieves/performs daily targets and output of production.
Meets quality standards for the line.
Follows work practices that are in the guidelines of OSHA standards.
Follows all Environmental Health and Safety rules and ISO requirements.
Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with 5s requirements rules and regulations.
Must be able to work required overtime as with members of leadership and quality to solve issues.
QUALIFICATIONS:
High school diploma or GED preferred but not required.
Previous manufacturing experience preferred but not required.
Able to read understand and write in English required
Basic math skills with ability to perform basic math calculations such as addition subtraction multiplication and division. Plus knowledge of fractions and decimals.
Ability to read a tape measure accurately.
Ability to compare actual measurements to specifications and determine if finished product is acceptable quality.
Able to read and interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written oral diagram or schedule format.
Ability to work in a team environment; good interpersonal skills.
Ability to adapt quickly and effectively to change.
Good hand/eye coordination.
Must have reliable transportation
