Job Description
The Associate Attorney is responsible for handling Residential Portfolio Management matters for the firm. They will utilize legal knowledge and experience to facilitate eviction code enforcement and small claims matters on behalf of our clients.
Duties & Responsibilities

Preparation review and approval of eviction related pleadings.

Handle all aspects of eviction code enforcement and small claims matters including contested matters.

Participation in mediations depositions telephonic hearings in-person hearings.

Regular client meetings/updates.

Other duties and special projects as assigned.
Requirements
-
Juris Doctorate.

3-5 years of experience with eviction-related pleadings.

Member in good standing of the North Carolina and South Carolina Bar Associations.

Ability to manage and prioritize large caseload.

Demonstrates strong written and verbal communication skills. Effectively communicates with all clients (via client systems e-mail and phone).

Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner.

Conscientious with respect to work completion deadlines time management and attendance.

Analytical and detail oriented while working at a fast pace and capable of multi-tasking.
