The JSB Lab is seeking a highly motivated Predoctoral Research AssociateII with a background in statistics biostatistics bioinformatics genomics or related fields to work closely with Dr. Li on cutting-edge research in single-cell and spatial omics data analysis. Aligned with the labs focus on enhancing analytical rigor and translating statistical innovation into biological insight the fellow will contribute to projects such as developing novel statistical methods for analyzing temporal and spatial gene expression dynamics at the single-cell level evaluating and benchmarking computational tools for single-cell and spatial omics research and creating statistical approaches for quantifying isoforms using long-read sequencing data.
The successful applicant will work in a multidisciplinary research team supported by an advanced data management and computational infrastructure to perform data analyses develop and/or implement novel statistical methodology and publish research results. The incumbent will have ample opportunity to publish first-author papers and present at national meetings.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
The annual base salary range for this position is from $43181 to $100027 and pay offered will be based on experience and qualifications.
