Salary Range: $80000 to $125000 (commensurate with experience)

Position Overview
Our client through its joint venture TPOG JV is seeking a Senior Cost Engineer to join the team on the Newark AirTrain project located at Newark International Airport. This role will report directly to the Project Manager and play a key part in the cost control and change management processes of this significant infrastructure development.
Key Responsibilities
Collaborate with the Project Manager and team to input monitor and implement the JDE Quantity Book
Draft and review letters/notices in coordination with daily project demands
Assess and document impacts of all owner notices for internal team review
Develop and manage subcontractor agreements and contractual language
Maintain tracking and execution of all project change requests from initiation through to completion
Oversee the subcontract Change Order Request (COR) process including cost and quantity evaluations estimating negotiations and preparation for review
Manage subcontractor payment processes and ensure all required documentation is in place
Administer the owner change directive process with full cost/quantity evaluation and estimating duties
Prepare monthly Claims Cost Reports
Generate internal and external cost reporting for all Potential Change Orders (PCOs)
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED required; bachelors degree in Engineering Construction Management Finance or a related field preferred
Minimum of 10 years of experience in cost engineering cost analysis or financial management on infrastructure or building construction projects
Proficiency in Procore HCSS estimating tools Excel and Primavera P6 (or similar platforms)
Strong analytical organizational and communication skills
Prior experience with heavy construction projects
Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
