Dietitian Clinical Specialist Job Responsibilities:
- The Dietitian Clinical Specialist provides safe and therapeutic nutritional care in a comprehensive and systematic manner.
- Incorporates differences into the provision of care by integrating knowledge skills and experiences to meet the needs of patients and families throughout the continuum of care.
- Assists healthcare team members with documentation related to nutrition; Acts as a resource to physicians nurses and other allied professional healthcare team members to provide patients with optimum nutritional care.
- Collects performance improvement data monitors outcomes and implements corrective actions.
- Recognizes trends in patient populations explores alternatives to care and makes revisions to standards.
- May perform additional duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelors degree minimum if licensed before 1/1/2024; Dietitians registered after 1/1/2024 must hold a masters degree with accredited Dietetic Internship.
- Certification:
- Registered Dietitian (RD) required upon start
- Basic Life Support from American Heart Association requiredwithin 3 Months of hire
Minimum Qualifications:
- Previous oncology experience highly preferred.
