The Purchasing Manager is responsible for developing and managing a robust procurement system that ensures timely cost-effective and quality acquisition of all materials parts and services required for Sunshine Minting Inc.s operations. This role combines strategic sourcing vendor management and operational purchasing to support production efficiency inventory accuracy and profitability. This includes adherence to the Sunshine Minting Inc. Purchasing Policy which outlines requisition protocols vendor selection criteria and approval processes.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Moderate temperature and noise levels particularly when working on or near the manufacturing floor; hearing protection is required. Work may be performed near moving mechanical parts.
LANGUAGE SKILLS:
Ability to read write perform basic math and communicate effectively in English.
