Job Description
- Inova Physician Services - Cardiology EP is looking for a dedicated Cardiac Device Specialist to join the team. This role will be a Full Time Days Monday- Friday 8:00 am - 4:30 pm.

Cardiac Device Specialist Job Responsibilities:
- Performs clinic and remote interrogations and device management according to established protocol under the supervision of a physician. This includes Pacemakers ICDs CRT devices and Implantable Loop Recorders (ILRs).
- Recognizes documents and reports basic abnormal functions of Pacemakers defibrillators ILRs and CRT devices and recommends strategies to address and correct issues.
- Prepares standardized remote reports for review and interpretation.
- Troubleshoots abnormal functions for bradycardia tachycardia and CRT devices.
- Identifies and seeks appropriate therapy for basic and complex arrhythmias and device malfunctions.
Cardiac Device Specialist Additional Requirements:
- Certification - Certified Cardiac Device Specialist (CCDS) from International Board of Heart Rhythm Examiners (IBHRE) within 24 months of hire
- Licensure - None required
- Experience - 1 year of clinical cardiology experience is required; basic understanding of ECGs and arrhythmias
- Education - High School diploma or equivalent
