Job Description
ASSYST is seeking a skilled Quality Assurance Analyst to join our clients team in Boca Raton Florida.
This role involves developing and executing formal test plans to ensure high-quality software delivery across enterprise applications.
Job Type: Contract (Corp to Corp/C2C or 1099)
Job Location: Boca Raton Florida (Fully Onsite)
Please Note: Mode of Interview shall be in-person at Boca Raton Florida.
Responsibilities:
- Design develop and execute test plans and test cases for software applications.
- Perform manual and automated testing including backend database testing.
- Maintain and enhance existing automation frameworks.
- Define and track quality assurance metrics (e.g. defects test status execution results).
- Analyze data for process evaluation and improvement; integrate findings into business operations.
- Document software issues and collaborate with development teams for resolution.
- Deliver quality process training and act as an internal quality consultant.
- Conduct quality audits to ensure compliance with standards and methodologies.
- Collaborate closely with developers to identify and resolve system defects or design flaws.
- Create test strategy documents and prioritize test execution according to project goals.
- Analyze data verify results and troubleshoot problems with attention to detail.
- Effectively manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Systems or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in systems development testing or related business functions.
- 57 years of experience in backend database testing and test automation.
- Strong understanding of SQL web services and web applications.
- At least 2 years of experience testing web services.
- Proficiency with automation tools such as SmartBear SOAP-UI/ReadyAPI LoadUI and Selenium WebDriver.
- Familiarity with Groovy/Java scripting and Object-Oriented Programming.
- Experience with test execution using Jenkins and tools like JUnit5 TestNG Cucumber or ReadyAPI runner.
- Understanding of test automation design patterns and build tools (Maven or Gradle).
- Experience creating and managing Jenkins jobs.
- Experience with Power BI and Azure cloud testing.
