To lead the process engineering function ensuring efficient safe and cost-effective manufacturing processes for air conditioning products. Responsible for continuous improvement new product integration into production and supporting cross-functional teams in achieving production goals
Design implement and optimize manufacturing processes for HVAC product assembly lines.
Develop standard operating procedures (SOPs) work instructions and process flows.
Implement lean manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies to reduce waste and improve productivity.
Collaborate with R&D design and production teams for smooth NPI.
Support pilot runs and validates new process capabilities for new models or variants.
Identify and evaluate manufacturing equipment needs process automation and tooling.
Coordinate with vendors and internal teams for installation and commissioning of equipment.
Ensure processes comply with quality standards (ISO 9001 ISO 14001 etc.).
Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) for process-related issues and drive corrective actions.
Work closely with Quality Assurance for process audits and CAPA.
Lead initiatives for cycle time reduction labor productivity and energy efficiency.
Analyze and control manufacturing cost drivers.
Lead and mentor a team of process engineers and technicians.
Provide training on process control safety and lean tools.
B.E./ in Mechanical Production or Industrial Engineering.
Experience: 815 years of experience in process engineering or manufacturing engineering preferably in HVAC or other consumer durables/electro-mechanical industries.
Strong knowledge of HVAC product manufacturing processes.
Familiarity with assembly line balancing PFMEA time-motion study.
Proficiency in AutoCAD SolidWorks or other design tools.
Experience with ERP systems (e.g. SAP).
Good communication and leadership skills.
Preferred Certifications:
Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt
Lean Manufacturing Certification
TPM Kaizen or TQM knowledge
