The Norfolk Record Office is looking for someone to manage its exciting project Hall Marks: The Long Shadows of Norfolks Lost Country Houses. Using the Offices extensive archival collections the project will look at the impact of Norfolks lost estates of which there are over a hundred. Using lost country houses and their estates as a starting point the project will also support the public to research a home of any size land or local area and to a improve access to a key resource for such research. The projects main funder is The National Lottery Heritage Fund.
The successful candidate will manage all aspects of the project including reporting to funders and other stakeholders managing risk managing the project team and contractors and managing the project budget. You will also ensure timely delivery of project outputs which include the delivery of workshops hosting an exhibition developing digital resources and significant volunteer projects.
We are looking for someone with experience of delivering projects in a heritage academic or similar environment. You must be able to work collaboratively and have strong communication and organisational skills.
