Were seeking two experienced Product Owners to join our Product Optimisation team within Consumer Insurance at Suncorp. These 12-month secondment opportunities have become available due to internal movement and offer the chance to step into a high-impact role at one of Australias leading financial services organisations.
As a Product Owner youll be responsible for leading the delivery of the Product Optimisation Portfolio driving initiatives that enable an exceptional customer experience. Youll play a key role in shaping and enhancing insurance products that truly make a difference for our customers.
What Youll Do
As a Product Owner you will:
- Own and drive the product vision across your dedicated cross-functional squad
- Define and prioritise business requirements and lead the squad through delivery and implementation
- Ensure regulatory alignment and risk management are front of mind through all delivery stages
- Act as the voice of the customer balancing customer needs with strategic and operational goals
- Build strong relationships across the business including with Technology Risk Transformation and Regulatory teams
- Monitor squad performance removing blockers and enabling a high-performance delivery culture
What Youll Bring
Were looking for individuals who bring a balance of delivery mindset product thinking and stakeholder confidence.
- 3 years experience in Insurance or Financial Services
- 1 years experience delivering projects or leading cross-functional teams
- Exceptional ability to prioritise backlogs define business value and communicate with clarity
- Proven experience working with complex systems technology teams and regulatory programs
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with strong commercial acumen
- Experience with artificial intelligence solutions is a bonus but not required
- Relevant tertiary qualifications and/or Product Owner certifications (desirable)
