Job Description
The K8 S.O.A.R. Academy is seeking a compassionate dedicated and skilled Classroom Teacher to join our Alternative Learning Environment team. We are looking for an educator with strong English Language Arts (ELA) and Math skills as well as a deep commitment to building positive supportive relationships with students. Our Alternative Learning Environment is uniquely designed to support students who struggle with self-regulation and have difficulty finding success in traditional classroom settings. We provide a structured nurturing environment tailored to meet the individual academic and social-emotional needs of our learners. Interested applicants must hold a valid Arkansas teaching license in content area (ELA Math or related subjects) and demonstrate the ability to build strong trusting relationships with students. Experience working with students with behavioral and emotional needs and Special Education certification is preferred but not required.
