Job Description

Vanguard Skin Specialists is a growing physician-led medical group with a bold and purpose-driven mission: to deliver outstanding care while building a scalable sustainable platform for multi-specialty services. With 9 locations 150 employees and expanding operations including a dermatology/plastic surgery/aesthetic services medical practice an ambulatory surgery center in development a real estate portfolio and retail skincare businesswe are entering our next phase of growth.

We are seeking a mission-aligned results-driven leader to serve as Director of Strategic Growtha high-impact role designed to oversee the launch and/or expansion of new clinical services ambulatory operations and business initiatives. This role is ideal for a self-starter with a track record of delivering growth navigating complexity and partnering across teams to drive sustainable change.


The Opportunity

As Director of Strategic Growth you will lead the planning and implementation of key initiatives across Vanguards growth portfolio including launching our ambulatory surgery center (ASC) expanding adjacent and ancillary services and evaluating and launching new business lines. You will own project delivery from strategy through executionensuring alignment with our mission financial goals and operational excellence across our growth areas.

You will report directly to the CEO and work closely with the physician founder as well as cross-functional stakeholders including clinical operations and finance teams. This is a highly visible role with potential for long-term growth and influence.


Duties and Responsibilities

Strategic Planning & Growth Execution

  • Drive the launch of new business lines service expansions and ancillary ventures including ASC launch.
  • Lead cross-functional planning market analysis feasibility modeling and full project execution.
  • Develop business cases financial models and go-to-market strategies that meet ROI and mission benchmarks.
  • Create board-level presentations project updates and post-implementation reports to track progress.

Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) Development

  • Serve as the internal project lead for ASC planning and execution including construction staffing licensing and operational readiness.
  • Partner with CEO legal clinical and construction teams to track and ensure project meets key ASC milestones.
  • Coordinate pro forma models volume forecasts and service mix analyses to guide business decisions.
  • Work closely with Physician President to develop specialties internally or through partnerships that utilize the ASC.

New Service Line & Specialty Launches

  • Identify gaps and opportunities for growth including ancillary services and new business lines.
  • Build business cases and collaborate with clinical and operational leadership to assess provider needs space planning marketing strategies and integration timelines.
  • Develop scenario models and ROI analyses for new investments partnerships and service lines in coordination with Finance.
  • Monitor performance against business case assumptions and recommend course corrections as needed.
  • Build business and operational infrastructure to support new initiatives including provider onboarding and market entry.

Cross-Functional Coordination & Communication

  • Act as liaison across operations finance marketing and clinical teams to ensure alignment and execution.
  • Track and troubleshoot roadblocks and proactively escalate issues to leadership.
  • Ensure all initiatives maintain fidelity to Vanguards mission values and patient care standards.

Real Estate & Capital Projects

  • If new business lines require real estate expansions then work closely with COO and CEO on real estate planning and capital projects for office openings and moves.

Compensation & Benefits


Location/Schedule

This is a full-time onsite leadership position based at our headquarters in Colorado Springs: 12320 Oracle Blvd Ste 350 Colorado Springs. Occasional travel to other locations and new geographies will be required.


This is not a remote or hybrid position. As a senior team member physical presence and availability are expected to support clinical operations provider engagement and team leadership. While we respect boundaries and work-life balance our leadership culture is deeply engaged requires responsiveness flexibility and a willingness to go beyond when neededespecially during periods of financial reporting strategic planning or key initiatives. This is an opportunity to lead with purpose alongside a founder-led team that works with urgency and mission.


Offers for employment will be contingent on successful pre-employment screening for this position.
