Production Technician: Level 2
The L2 Production Technician is a strictly production role operating out of the Supply Chain Operations department in Monroe CT. Individuals in this role are responsible for testing and configuration of Datto hardware and software.
After successful training the L2 Production Technician will be required to inspect and configure components against a work order/Bill of Materials and document and report non-conforming assemblies and components. They must adhere to Invoice/Replacement SLAs efficiently image stock appliances and apply proper labeling. The technician will also be required to efficiently manage monthly server order requirements
The ability to utilize hand-held tools such as a screwdriver pliers dykes and a drill gun is
required. The L2 Production Technician must comply with all procedures rules and regulations. Occasionally they may be asked to work overtime or assist in other departments within the facility.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED
- CompTIA A Certification preferred
- Familiarity with computer hardware
- Excellent time management skills
- Basic reading skills
- Strong communication and analytical skills
- Intermediate computer navigation and utilization skills
- Ability to perform work accurately and efficiently
- Ability to use thinking and reasoning to solve a problem and to think in such a way as to produce a new concept or idea
- High attention to detail and self-motivation skills
- Ability to lift 75 lbs
