Echo Technologist I

Responsibilities
Responsibilities:
- Provides diagnostic test to individuals in all age categories including geriatric adult and adolescents to aid in diagnosing disease processes
- Performs duties in accordance with that of hospital policies and procedures and regulatory agency guidelines
- Maintains patient safety through attention to detail equipment safety checks adherence to department policies and effective communication with physicians staff and patients
- Provides patient orientation procedure explanation and pre and post diagnostic care to completion of test
- Displays professional safe conduct in all interactions
Qualifications
Required Education & Experience:
- Degree from accredited Echocardiography Program
- (3) Three years of patient care work experience
Required Licensure:
- BLS-CPR
