Responsibilities
Peraton is currently seeking a Sr Behavioral Research Scientist to provide subject matter expertise for an Army research project.
This will be on a part-time/on-call (hourly) basis role - paid by the hour for each hour worked.
Location: Remote work allowed 100%.
In this role you will serve as a communications expert on and for a small team.
Responsibilities of this position include:
- Leading behavioral science and social science research projects for the Department of Defense
- Advising on research methodology and approach with regards to the area of professional communication
- Writing reports and developing documentation
- Interfacing directly with customers leveraging expertise in problem definition and project leadership
Qualifications
Minimum requirements:
- A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience with a Bachelors degree and specific experience with the following:
- Principal Investigator (PI) experience.
- Experience with military communication research.
- Experience supporting Army applied research projects ideally with the Army Research Institute (ARI).
- Experience conducting qualitative data collection coding and analysis.
- Collaborative Institutional Training Initiative (CITI) human subjects certification.
- U.S. citizenship required.
- Active DoD Secret security clearance.
Preferred:
- Ph.D. in Professional Communication or related degree.
