A role with Space Presentation & Transitions means youre on a mission to create better store space and experiences for our guest while maximizing sales. We are responsible for ensuring the right item is on the right shelf in the right store. On the Space side we do this by using analytics to determine the appropriate footage for each assortment for every store (adjacency). Each stores assortment is assigned to a planogram (POG) which is developed in Presentation to ensure the localized assortment meets presentation objectives and is associated to the correct location in a store. We believe that making increasingly better space allocation and presentation decisions will increase sales improve guest satisfaction and reduce out-of-stocks. Here youll partner with and manage cross-functional project teams in Merchandising Store Design Marketing Store Operations and Non-Retail Procurement from strategy to execution to achieve an inspiring and convenient in-store guest experience.
As a Sr Specialist Space Presentation & Transitions you will provide support for the entire Space Presentation & Transitions process from the beginning to end. You will create materials and adjacencies for MAP-It packages and assist planogram team members in the production proofing and publishing process. This includes production cover page comments bill of materials revisions tacking printing distribution and filing. You will be responsible for daily maintenance of store tie databases and assist adjacency team members in the development and distribution of MAP-It packages. You will assist in the development of new store and remodel package and tie process as well as manage all eSupport Communication for the team. You will also be responsible for tracking researching distributing and following up on all communication to ensure prompt resolution. Well support you along the way with robust onboarding as well as personal and career development to help you grow as a strong Sr Specialist.

Four-year degree or equivalent experience
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks
Interpersonal and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and efficiently
Microsoft Office Knowledge (Word and Excel)
This position will operate as a Hybrid/Flex for Your Day work arrangement based on Targets needs. A Hybrid/Flex for Your Day work arrangement means the team members core role will need to be performed both onsite at the Target HQ MN location the role is assigned to and virtually depending upon what your role team and tasks require for that day.
