2nd Shift: Monday - Friday: 2:15pm - 10:30pm
What You Will Do:
- Works with Technicians/Sr. Technician/Master Technician to learn and develop approach to machinery repair and troubleshooting
- Perform set up and changeovers to production equipment for manufacturing operation in an effective manner
- Work with Technicians/Sr. Technicians/Master Technicians on developing basic troubleshooting and repair of electrical mechanical and pneumatic failures of production machines in a timely manner
- Basic understanding of hand tools mechanical components and electrical circuits
- Basic safety understanding of working with industrial manufacturing equipment including Lockout/Tagout
- Willingness to complete community college course work to eliminate any skills gaps both during and after working hours when classes are offered.
- Flexibility to move to other shifts when Apprenticeship is complete as business needs dictate.
- Work with Technicians/Sr. Technicians/Master Technicians on preventive maintenance as scheduled
What You Need:
Required
- HS Diploma/GED
- Minimum of 2 years related manufacturing experience
- Basic knowledge of Mechanical Electrical and/or Pneumatic functions
Preferred
- Associate Degree or certificate in Industrial Maintenance course work
- Understanding of technical principals
