We Offer
This role will be based out of Maersk GSC which will contribute to L&S vertical. It will enable management to make timely data driven decisions by providing actionable insights out of defined metrics (financial and operational) and effective ways of working leading to successful delivery of business outcomes.
As a Senior Specialist you will closely collaborate with wide range of stakeholders provide insights on business performance driving improvements and data quality drive projects work on solutions through means of digitisation drive cost leadership agenda quality management of processes.
Key Responsibilities
You will be responsible for handling multiple tasks with complete ownership and accountability.
- Enables Performance Management & Reporting on Portfolio Health indicators.
- Implement processes to reduce resistance and enable the teams / projects you support to use their resources most effectively.
- Provide insights into P&L giving visibility on performance key drivers enabling sound decisions with the help of historic and projected financial/operational outcomes.
- Work on many different types of problems and challenges from managing complex projects to providing execution support with existing teams.
- Fosters Agile & DevOps mindset embedding best practices & collaboration methods on a day-to-day basis.
- Partner with Maersks internal stakeholders to scope projects / initiatives and deliver timely results.
- Support platform teams for any roll outs from SD execution side of the business.
- Own transformation/digitisation agenda for Mumbai Intermodal teams.
- Work with Existing New opportunities (expansion) for Intermodal cost recovery initiatives.

Graduate or Postgraduate of at least 4-5 years in operations financial analysis Shipping and logistics business . Should be willing to work in Full night shifts. Excellent communication skills (English) Fluent Oral & Written Fluent with Windows Applications & Strong MS Excel skills (v-lookup Pivots Complex formulae) and MS PowerPoint. Analytical & Problem-Solving ability for trouble shooting & root cause analysis Willingness to build on and experiment with data & Maersks platforms in addition to our own services. Ability to effectively communicate data-driven solutions and recommendations to business stakeholders. Passionate to lead initiatives driven to work with creativity and innovation. Ambitious and result oriented self-starter on initiatives and strong drive on change management. Mindset to co-create and co-own initiatives. Proficiency in Power BI Python or R is an added advantage.
