The Project Manager oversees multiple major functions within our Industrial Services division handling both administrative and technical aspects. This role ensures projects align with company goals budgets and schedules while managing interdepartmental coordination personnel decisions and operational standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the main liaison between GFL and clients managing communication on design schedule and budget.
- Lead project planning scope definition task allocation and resource planning.
- Develop and manage detailed project plans timelines and budgets.
- Coordinate project teams and subcontractors including oversight of invoicing and project billing.
- Facilitate internal and client meetings; report on project progress challenges and solutions.
- Monitor quality assurance and implement necessary project changes to ensure deliverables are met.
- Oversee project evaluations results assessments and project closeouts.

- Strong leadership communication and team management skills.
- Skilled at prioritizing problem-solving and adapting to shifting project demands.
- Ability to build cooperation across departments and with clients.
- Capable of motivating teams defusing conflict and managing high-pressure deadlines.
- Technologically adept with the ability to learn and apply new tools and practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Engineering (required).
- 5 years of project/program management experience ideally in pipelines tanks and oil & gas facilities.
- Proficient in budgeting scheduling reporting and cross-functional team leadership.
- Skilled in MS Outlook Word Excel and Windows OS.
- Experience with revenue models profit/loss and forecasting.
- PMP certification and PE license preferred.
