Life Cycle Engineering (LCE) is responsible for ensuring our products are Safe Reliable Maintainable and delivered on time. Life Cycle Engineering consists of multiple disciplines that support engineering our program offices and our customers. Our Life Cycle Engineering disciplines participate in the total life cycle of our products from conception to deactivation. Our focus area is product support including the following disciplines: Reliability System Safety and Supportability.
What You Will Do:
As a Failure Reporting Analysis and Corrective Action System (FRACAS) Engineer II you will be responsible for supporting the FRACAS program activities such as:
Reviewing nonconformances and failure data assessing factors such as system impact and trend risk
Performing failure investigations and working to determine root cause and corrective action (RCCA) using tools such as 5-Whys and Fault Trees
Presenting to internal and external stakeholders at program meetings and Failure Review Boards (FRB)
This job is based at Raytheons Woburn facility and is posted as ONSITE.
Qualifications You Must Have:
Typically Requires: Bachelors degree in Science Technology Engineering or Math (STEM) and minimum 2 years of relevant experience. An advanced degree may account for additional years of experience as required for this position.
Experience in Reliability RCCA/Failure Analysis and/or Quality Engineering.
The ability to obtain and maintain a US Secret security clearance. US citizenship is required as only US citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
Qualifications We Prefer:
Experience with FRACAS Engineering Concepts including knowledge of tools such as Fault Trees and 5-Whys.
Experience presenting to Failure Review Boards
Electrical Engineering experience Electrical Engineering degree/education preferred
Task leadership or project management experience familiar with concepts such as Earned Value
Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect organize analyze and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to present technical material to varied audiences
Ability to work collaboratively across disciplines

This position requires ability to obtain a security clearance. DCSA Consolidated Adjudication Services (DCSA CAS) an agency of the Department of Defense handles and adjudicates the security clearance process. The salary range for this role is 66000 USD - 130000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
