Job Description
We are seekingan Insurance Litigation Lawyer to join our litigation team and provide legal advice to a highly well-known global team Canada. This fully remote role is open to lawyers licensed in Canada.
Key Responsibilities:
- Advise on disability insurance claims including matters involving LTD STD group insurance policies and employer-sponsored benefit plans
- Review analyze and interpret complex insurance policies claim files and medical records
- Prepare pleadings affidavits motion materials and submissions
- Advise clients on litigation strategy risk and potential resolution pathways
Qualifications:
- Licensed to practice law in a Canadian jurisdiction
- 5 years of experience in insurance litigation including disability personal injury or group benefits claims
- Solid understanding of LTD/STD claims processes evidentiary requirements and insurer practices
- Excellent analytical communication and organizational skills
