Job Description

Job Title:Robotics & Grade 8 Math TeacherLocation: Randolph Community Middle School Randolph Public Schools Randolph MAJob Description: Randolph Community Middle School is seeking a motivated and innovative Robotics Teacher to join our team for theschool year. This position includes teaching PLTW Robotics to middle school students and one section of Grade 8 Robotics course follows the Project Lead The Way (PLTW) curriculum designed to give students hands-on experience in engineering coding and problem-solving. The math class follows a district-adopted curriculum that supports coherence and rigor. Instructional coaching support is available to support new teachers. The ideal candidate is committed to educational equity excited about STEM instruction and eager to collaborate with colleagues. This is a great opportunity for educators who are new to PLTWtraining and curriculum are provided and ongoing coaching and professional development are available. We welcome passionate educators ready to build students STEM skills and PLTW Robotics courses to middle school students using the provided curriculumTeach one section of Grade 8 Math using the districts instructional resourcesParticipate in PLTW summer training (fully funded by the district)Provide hands-on project-based instruction that engages all learnersCollaborate with instructional coaches and colleagues to support student learningEstablish a positive inclusive classroom environment that promotes curiosity and creativityUse student data to inform instruction and support academic growthTerm of Employment: 182 school daysPLTW Training: Required and provided over the summerSalary: Per the Randolph Public Schools Educators Association contract
