Job Description
Position:Controller
Location:Whittier CA
Responsibilities: Monitor financial compliance and review program design guidelines to meet requirements established by external agencies; Direct coordinate and monitor all accounting and financial procedures and functions of the company such as Accounts Payable Accounts Receivable Revenue Billing Procurement General Ledger and Payroll; Oversee the preparation of financial information documents including month-end and annual financial statements and other related documents such as cash flow capital and operating budgets supplementary schedules and other ADHOC documents. Prepare annual budget monthly budgets funding appeals according to requirements and guidelines established by external and governmental agencies. Draft and communicate management reports to executive management and owners and maintain direct liaison to external agencies. Monitor review and oversee the overall financial performance of 14 companies (S/C Corps and 9 LLCs which includes 30 real estate corporate and residential properties portfolio). Prepare and monitor owners personal financial statement insurance real estate portfolio and taxes. This position also supervises 5 employees.
Educ./experience: Requires 3 years of experience as a Director of Finance or related position within the disability services field. Experience must include general ledger and account reconciliation; bank reconciliation; cash flow projection and forecast; intercompany allocations; financial reporting and analysis; and directing the preparation of the following: financial highlights management discussion and analysis (MD&A) financial statements notes to financial statements independent auditors report.
